The initial apparently unformed material “shapes-in” as the performance evolves and predefined elements find their place in the formal organization through an approach that grounds on classical music structures. The piece begins with an “Incipit” followed by the
main “Theme” constituted by the Wayfarer's Song. These two elements develop into "Variations" and the work concludes with a “Coda”.
The piece makes use of Gunther Berkus' “The Cork City Gamelan” samples/
It is an 16+2-channel extended version of "Portas Do Sol". The final chapter of a journey between Lisbon and Barcelona.
